About
Ava has been nine years in the making.
AVA Credit Inc. is a Canadian federal corporation in Toronto. It builds one product, Ava, for the licensed professionals who underwrite, advise and analyze for a living.
The company did not start with a model. It started in October 2017, when a commercial lender read a research paper about a new kind of neural network and filed a trademark on what it would mean for credit. Everything below followed from that.

Today
One product, one market, and one rule about client data.
Ava is an accelerated virtual analyst for Canadian financial services work. Ava 1.0, the first release, is the governance layer.
What it does
It removes client identity from a financial document so the work can be done in the best enterprise AI available, then puts the identity back into the finished work. The identity never leaves the firm.
Who it is for
The five-lawyer practice. The ten-professional accounting firm. The fifty-person wealth management firm. The sole licensed mortgage broker. The same duty of confidentiality as a bank, and none of the capacity to build around it.
How it is built
In Toronto, governed by design, against the Canadian regulatory frameworks the buyer already answers to, including OSFI E-23 and B-10.
