2025 Perplexity AI Business FellowCommercial lending veteran with 25+ years spanning GE Capital, TD Bank, and institutional private credit. Among the first in financial services to recognize the transformative potential of transformer architecture, Matthew filed the AI Credit® trademark in October 2017, two months after encountering Google’s Attention Is All You Need paper. Registration followed in 2019.
Developed the RGI Framework (Retrieve, Generate, Interact) and built Canada’s first enterprise AI training program for DLCG Mortgage Group (TSX: DLCG), training 2,271 mortgage professionals with a 97% positive response rate. Selected for the inaugural Perplexity AI Business Fellowship alongside CEOs from Perplexity, NVIDIA, Databricks, Box, and Bridgewater. Now focused entirely on Governed AI tools for Canadian financial services under OSFI E-23 and B-10.
